Tynie Cosmetics + Apparel, formerly Spark + Thread, has been designing and selling novelty tees and accessories since 2015. In 2019, we expanded our online store to include our long-time obsession for nail polish with the debut of Tynie Nail Polish.
Tynie Nail Polish is a maker of small-batch, designer nail polish. Our mission for Tynie is to create luxurious, non-toxic nail polish in trend-making shades while aiming to reduce the waste and toxic chemicals usually associated with nail polish.
Our goal at Tynie Cosmetics + Apparel is to provide our customers with quality apparel and cosmetics that facilitates powerful self-expression. We believe everyone should be able to wear their personality in a comfy tee with a shiny manicure.
Who We Are:
Spark + Thread (now Tynie Cosmetics & Apparel) was founded by, Lindsey Tyner, in 2015. Having been a web & graphic designer for over a decade, Lindsey found herself constantly working on designs for other people while her personal creativity started to wain. She began creating T-Shirt designs on Etsy as a way of expressing herself. She decided to expand her offering to give others the same opportunity to “wear their personality”.
In 2019, Tynie debuted its nail polish brand, Tynie Nail Polish, which was born from Lindsey’s long time nail polish obsession. Lindsey knew she wanted to share her unique take on nail polish colors with the world while also trying to find a way to reduce the waste of old polishes and chemicals involved in the in the typical manicure.
As Tynie begins to grow, we expect to add many more polishes and take on new apparel designers and production partners. Stay tuned as we continue on our journey!
